I think the Mets want him to at least become an average fielder before they will call him up. Same thing happened with Baty. Ronny is a terrific athlete with great range and a powerful arm. That play he made catching the ball hit to RF today was the furthest I have ever seen a 2B go into RF to make a catch. The RF was playing deep and got a bad jump on. It and Ronny saw it was him or the bs;l was gonna drop in. He can and should be an above average fielder. Hope to see progress on this soon. Believe he made an error in a key spot the day before to give Buffalo an unearned run.
