I'm always confused by this rule-are we allowed an extra 27th player for the games today?

For previously scheduled DH's you can have a 27th man for both games.

For last minute DH's, you're only allowed a 27th man for the 2nd game.
 
Injuries are just killing this team right now. No Judge for probably a month, Bader out yet again, Rizzo not 100% etc. All that said Yankees have to get Oswaldo Cabrera back to Triple A and get Peraza up here ASAP.

Peraza’s hitting the cover off the ball. I didn’t realize that.
 
Man DJ is really struggling right now. Under .240 and zero power. Really gotta get him going.
