Now that the season is over let's discussion any changes to rules / settings you may want for next year.

#1. The big one is IL+. Overall I liked it... that being said the GTD thing, especially the day before a game, led to the ability to do some things while putting the player on IL+, where they typically would still play the next game. It was the same for all, so it wasn't unfair.

Unfortunately I can't find a "hybrid" IL+ setting, where a person that is "O" (out), can also be placed on the IL.

#2. One less player on the roster. This would increase the availability pool.

#3. Waivers - I think everybody was fine with the removal of waivers, and adding FA's immediately, but one again open to comment.

If there is anything else you want to discuss from rules perspective post it here. After that we can go to a majority vote.

1 and 3 - much needed and worked out great. I actually like the four pickups before all star then up it to five after the break due to injury management.

2 - I don’t know how much flexibility yahoo has in basketball but I would be fine with the starting five using the typical positions and the rest be utility with one less starting spot and roster spot. My thought is it would really make roster construction and who you play more strategic. I also wouldn’t be opposed to even doing position-less rosters, however how would anyone pick up know to pick A. Bona off waivers and remove the joy of me laughing to myself for 10 minutes.

Agree with all of this, all utility would be really interesting after the starting 5 positions. I agree to that it seems to make sense that if we drop a roster spot we also drop a starting spot. I didn't mind the size of the teams though. Part of the fun is trying to find the unclaimed guys that pop for a game or two when you need it.

Agree on the pickups, and even 5 wasn't enough, but you have to set a limit.

I was thinking the same thing regarding positionless basketball, but that only affected me once last season and almost affected me once this season. But that was my fault. I thought some random player was listed as PF and C, but they were only listed as one of those.
