2024-25 NBA Season / Playoffs

The Bulls are in this bizarre never-ending purgatory where they're in the play-in tourney every single year. They aren't good enough to do anything in the playoffs but aren't bad enough to get a franchise changing draft pick.
That's how Reinsdorf wants it.

O/U is 33.5 wins. If you think they'll win more than 34 games, you should bet it.

*Hand Up*

I'm an idiot.

Shocked how good Clips have been.
Lue is a really good coach
Zubac and Powell have gone to the next level.
Harden has played hard all year.
Kawhi looks good when he plays.

Will be interesting what they do in playoffs if everyone is healthy

We have a large sample size of Harden in the playoffs. For their sake the sociopath better be as close to 100% as he can get.

Jazz "Capture the Flagg" process taking shape with five regular season games remaining. Jazz have 16 wins, Washington has 17 and Charlotte has 19. All three teams will have a 14% overall chance at number one, but the Jazz can only fall as low as 5th.
It would be hilarious if he stayed in school

Jaylen Wells injury tonight. Serious warning: This video is extremely scary and sad. Not everyone will want to see what happened. And there is no excuse for what happened. I feel bad even posting it, and hope that X blocks it.

Hope he’ll be okay, horrible. So unnecessary and dumb.

Honestly I was nervous last night especially in the 1st half that someone was really going to get hurt too.

Sounds like good news from his dad.

Basketball can be such a beautiful game. Great passing, five players moving in unison. And then, some want to play bully ball. No place for thugs.

Glad to hear the update and hoping that all his tests come back with good news. What KJ Simpson did was just so stupid, dangerous. I know it wasn’t malicious but it’s irrelevant if what you do ends up injuring someone. I ended up many many moons ago, in a hospital overnight after our college basketball game in Potsdam when I was flipped over from behind going in for a fast break layup. Ended up having a big knot on my head ( swear it wasn’t there before the game:)), 2 broken fingers, badly sprained wrist. I didn’t even get to take the free throw, no flagrant nor tech back then just a talking to the offender. It is scary even if it ends up not being serious and takes a while to get over when going for a layup wondering if someone behind you is ready to crash into you. Again that’s what made me nervous in the 1st half of Florida-Houston game.

You were lucky. I just watched Josh Hart tackle Luke Kornet to the ground as he was going for a layup. Very obviously that it was intentional and the refs didn't even call it a foul.

My god idk if I've ever seen anything quite like the Bucks-Wolves game last night. Minnesota just dominated the first three quarters and had a 24 point lead. Bucks switched to a zone defense and Minnesota had zero idea what to do. Bucks went on a 31 point run, mostly led by Kevin Porter Jr., and completed one of the most improbable comebacks you'll ever see.

It's disappointing that the ceiling for the Knicks this year is second round of the playoffs. They literally cannot beat the Cavs or Celtics and last night was really the only game that was particularly close.

Were the Timberwolves helmed by Kelvin Sampson or Tom Crean last night?

Funny that OKC shoots more free throws against everyone, but the Lakers.
SGA had zero free throw attempts Sunday night. That’s only happened two other times this season: In the All-Star Game and one preseason game.

Having said that, the league/refs are pivoting away from the free throw disparity favoring the Lakers because everyone’s catching on. Instead, they’re just swallowing their whistles and letting the Lakers hack their opponents, like Pitino and Louisville in 2013.

And to think there was a time SGA was interested in Cuse (we were in his final 5), but SU went all eggs in the Quade Green basket. That was an epic miss.

Who wins MVP… SGA or Joker? I think Shai pulls it out.

Wild, that means he outscored Durant.

Keep an eye on the Clippers. They are quietly the hottest team in the league. On March 5 they were 4 games over .500. Now they’re 17 games over .500.
