It is Sharife Cooper’s dad who is acting like his advisor/manager. He is just trying to cash in on another McEachern player in the league (especially since Sharife didn’t last long in the league/ G league).

Yeah, from what I gather the manager is the one that was pushing for certain east coast destinations, not Bailey, and not Bailey's actual agent/representation.

Sounds like a bit of a parasite. He's definitely providing negative value on Bailey right now.

I'm sure they all wanted him on the East Coast; the other two just accept that he's going where he was drafted. I extremely doubt the manager was just going rogue the whole time and Ace/agent let him do it.

There are so few competent teams that have cap space anymore every summer. And its almost impossible for most teams to create any real cap space.

A good player can't really use free agency to create leverage right now.
Only way good players are seemingly moved now are via rebuilds (mutual or not), or using the words of Slapshot players using the "Trade me right bleeping now",

The cap is supposed to be going up 10% a year (though Bobby Marks was just saying today next year is only 7%) so you should be able to get some more cap space teams coming up. But the majority of the stars changing teams lately have been via trade
