2024-25 NBA Season

More than a few NBA guys would not have tossed up that shot for fear that it would ruin their shooting percentage. It's why people run from the ball when the 24 second clock is winding down.

It doesn’t count as a shot unless it goes in.

If it's during a playoff game that's pulling a Chris Webber

Ty Jerome. Who would have ever believed he could post this line in an NBA game

33 pts on 11/14 shooting . 8/8 from 3

Many may disagree with me on this and that's fine, but I think all these over-the-top court designs and endless uniform variations hurts the NBA's brand. It makes the league feel gimmicky and unserious. Like it's a minor league lacrosse league or something desperate for attention.

Joker is currently having the highest PER season in the history of the NBA.

Bronny hits the stat sheet at MSG with 2 pts and 1 turnover.

Are Lakers going to play a whole team of 6’6” to 6’8” guys?

NBA ratings plummeting. Doncic to LA. Hmm. Seems sort of staged. No way is this an even trade.

Luka hasn’t played since Christmas. Lakers must be thinking post Lebron.

Mavericks are suddenly looking pretty formidable this year.

I’d say it’s pretty even.

six years difference. that value is way more than 1 first round pick 4 years from now. also Doncic's value to that franchise extends well beyond the court. Davis has no where near the appeal off the court.

I blame it on Kyrie.
He has destroyed another franchise.

(Note - this is probably not true)

Watching ESPN, speculation is the Mavs have a lot of concerns about Luka’s conditioning resulting in a lot of his injuries and they have to give him a 5 yr $350 million contract this summer or Luka turns that down and goes to free agency. Mavs chose this route instead. Shocking there is so much doubt about a 25 year old perennial MVP/All-NBA candidate. Will be interesting to see how this shakes out going forward.

It just feels that so many teams could have offered more. They could have got 7 or 8 picks based on recent packages. I suppose they try to move AD at some point after the season, but NET/NET they are way

So many teams could have offered big packages... and since Doncic is 25 its not even just the top of the league. Could be rebuilding teams.

I'm still very confused.
