It was all I knew but I didn’t realize how bad the offense was for a lot of that era. The 99 lockout season was rhe worst of it.

Average team scores 22 more points per game now than in 99.

The entire league was fat and out of shape. It was terrible basketball.

Fat and out of shape and then they had to compress the schedule to get the 50 games in.

I just looked at the Knicks schedule, of their 50 games, 17 of them were played with no days rest! Included in that is 3 sets of back to back to backs!

Look at this stretch from March 11 to March 22
3/11: Home Washington
3/12: At Chicago
3/14: Home Charlotte
3/15: at Milwaukee
3/16: home clippers
3/18: home magic
3/20: home boston
3/21: at toronto
3/22: home atlanta

9 games in 12 days! They had a back to back to back with 2 flights! then another back to back to back a few days later with 2 more flights! (including an international trip!)

The injury risks had to be fairly significant for the Lakers to push back. I though the trade on the surface was a big win for the Lakers, and the Lakers are now deciding to move forward without a much needed big for the rest of the year. Those issues must be why Charlotte put him on the market -- for it to be overturned, they had to be dishonest about something. Clown franchise.

That being said, seeing that the victim of the Charlotte shenanigans was the Lakers, I'm OK with it. If I was commissioner, the Hornets would not get punished and instead be awarded 2 second round picks and a league medal of honour.

I was at the Knicks Hawks game last night, and Jalen Brunson went off for 38 and I still walked away super impressed with the job Daniels did on him. He is a complete menace

Brunson is obviously a monster, but there's very few players in the NBA that I'd watch Daniels defend and feel that the ball is totally safe lol. Feels like you're on the verge of turning it over every possession when he's flying around.

He's legit. Great play earlier this year to stop Fox's potential game winner.

He picked Brunsons pocket once late in the game and also knocked one loose to cause a jump ball.

Just looking at the box score it has him with 4 steals last night. Which honestly seems low by one or two. What an awful trade by the pels.

Why would you abuse the rules to make a mockery out of an all-star game event. Sad that Paul likely drew Wemby into this, and it will hurt both of their rep at least to some degree.

I haven't watched an NBA ASG for a while. Has it been like this for a while with endless stuff other than the lackluster game itself? It is hard to watch, and I'm tapping out -- going to clean my bathroom and kitchen instead. while I'm stuck playing this free ticket to a $10 poker game that apparently lasts forever.
