Not sure playing against SUs defense (with the personnel available Friday) is the best scout, but if he was neck and neck with a guy seen as the best guy in the portal, it’s worth serious consideration.

He seems more like a guy that would fit at Wake.

Didn't they hire the guy from South Dakota state and I am pretty sure the QB from there hit the portal as well and is a supposed stud.
I would be surprised if that kid came to Syracuse and hard to say how good after 1 game.

He also shoulda had a 3rd INT, but Wax’s pick got called back due to a hand to the face penalty that had zero to do w the play.

Kid had a decent game against us, but we can do better, and probably already have.

He had a great performance. He was 31/43 and is way more proven than any kid on our roster. Say what you want but he had some very nice throws in tight windows.

That secondary that started the game, Kerr, Lewis, and Duce, w/Ibn, Long and Delaine rolling in and out are all likely starting and/or in the two deep next season …. so I guess what you’re saying is that we should go out and get some portal defensive backs instead because our secondary next year is going to blow.

Yes, we should absolutely be targeting secondary players. Those guys might take a leap in the spring and fall but I'd be worried to be counting on that group next year.

They had guys running open all night due to our blown coverages. I don't remember many if any throws that wowed me.
