Kind of crazy. I thought he would be a starter and major piece in their puzzle next year. IMO he was a really good player from watching him in the tournament. I have to assume Florida recruited over him for him to look for greener pastures.

Things are getting so stupid with NIL and Portal. I think at this point, I'd just like to see a billionaire pick some rando school and make them contenders. Maybe a Maine or East Carolina. There are only about 10 teams who have $10M NIL budgets according to an article I linked earlier today from CBS Sports.

You can't blow 40% of your budget - even if it's only 25-30% - on any one player. You just can't do it.

We've spent our money.

All we might get now are fill ins - maybe a 3rd center, another wing shooter, another PG. But we already have the guys we hope will make up the rotation. Now it's just a couple fill-ins, in case of injury.
