2024-25 Portal

I know one dude who clearly takes his S&C seriously! Let’s portal in some grown men please instead of scrawny freshmen (we aren’t going to land any Cooper Flaggs).

[Curry will] work with general manager Austin Buntz, a former Under Armour global sports marketing team member. Curry first signed with Under Armour in 2013 and launched his own Curry Brand as a standalone venture with the company in 2020. He also signed a lifetime contract shoe deal in recent years.

Curry, his wife Ayesha Curry and longtime Davidson College supporters Don, Matt and Erica Berman will also start an eight-figure fund for both the men and women's programs.

Chaz Lanier was at North Florida in the ASUN for 3 years and never averaged more than 4.7ppg in a year. In his 4th year he averages 19.7ppg on 44% from 3, wins ASUN player of the year - transfers to Tennessee where he’s the leading scorer, and shooting 41% from 3 on a top 10 team.

This dude averaged less than 5ppg as a junior at North Florida. Point is - scouting and identifying diamonds in the rough consistently can also help to overcome NIL problems. Would be nice to see Red take a guy with lower expectations and really have him breakout
Tennessee has done very good in that regards (Knecht)

Who are the 3 returning starters? Even if you think JJ and Freeman are back, that's it.
We have to have better players at 3 other positions, plus a back-up center.
I was making a hypothetical… I have no idea neither who will be coming back, nor who I would want to return.

I want a center whose focus is Defense and Boards

I want a couple 3 and D guys

And a true point

That's all
Sums it up.
But I'd put your 3rd item at the top, and maybe rename it something like "A true point with proven strong showings against top p4 teams"

You have to have some low post offense, or else your shooters don't get open looks.

I was watching Drake play yesterday. I want Bennett Stirtz so bad.. 6'4 PG not a freak athletically but a true floor general that averages 19 a game and is player of the year in the MV conference.

That's what 23 year old grad students can look like.

And Flagg is a scrawny freshman. Amazingly talented, but he’s gonna need to get on the nba S & C program.

its hard to find a player that gives you everything...but interior scoring is very very important as well...

right now theres almsot zero low post scoring on next years roster...huge problem

rim protection should be a priority for sure...but hopefully not at the expense of inside scoring

EVERY good team can score inside.
