Come on. Can we please get a top PG and not some kid from Monmouth or Fairfield or something?
Patience. If we were competitive on Dedan Thomas we have the money to get a legit player.

I would be in favor of spending a huge percentage of our remaining NIL on an impact PG and value shopping at the other positions but I know it's not that easy.

What's competitive?

Were we ready to go to $2mill and got outbid at $3mill as some have noted?

Outbid by a mill doesn't sound competitive.

Can we get a decent PG for $2mill?? I sure hope so.

Syracuse is going big game hunting for their next point guard. Some of the names I’m watching:

Nick Boyd
Tre Donaldson
Jaland Lowe
Tre Holloman
Nigel Pack
Kerr Kriisa
Nait George
Malachi Smith
Melvin Council
Nyk Lewis
Boyd is heading to Wisconsin and Lowe will end up at Miami.

Live look-in at Syracuse competing for any decent point guard…

Where oh where are we going to get our true PG from? I’m remaining optimistic, but every time we are linked to someone, they all seem to be actively visiting powerhouses! Then committing to them…..

Remember when we used to be a powerhouse? I hope Red can get us back asap.

I am going to say this - I am unimpressed by the portal additions thus far, and the longer it goes that we do not have high impact guys, the more it confirms the opinion that this coaching staff is not the one. I will be patient, but the longer it goes, the worse it gets.

Kingz is a nice addition -- but he's not a go-to guy, he's not a point guard, and let's all remember that he played in a level below the ACC in the West Coast Conference -- Oregon State was not a P5 school this year.

Kyle III played 10 minutes per game for an 11 seed. Showed some signs, but can you bank on this guy being a 25-30 minute per game guy?

Two role players. But we need high impact. And thus far, our starting lineup features who?

PG -- ?????
SG - Starling (Sr.)
SF - Kingz (Sr.)
PF - Freeman (So.)
C - Kyle III (?) (Sr.)

Bench - Anthony (Fr.), White (Fr.), Fennel (Fr.), Womack (Fr.)

How is this any better than what we saw this past year?

Well one thing if we get more than what was it this year, 14 games from Freeman, it alone will make a big difference.

I am happy with the additions but agree that we still haven't added anyone we can be positive will be a game changer.

don’t know if it’s been said i been working so damn much but my sources say Nathan George is being pursued aggressively (love that 3 pointer that doesn’t gaf we kinda need that). Along with Lowe (a bit surprised).

Just heard from a ga tech fan (SU is #1 with him but lives in Atlanta) that it was reported that Will Wade of NCst met with him already. I had heard before that - that UNC was high on him. Hoping we are making big inroads with George.

It’s one thing to want more, but kingz is the 25th ranked player in the portal according to to Evan Miya and Kyle is graded as a power 5 starter according to Jonathan Givony. This is not Lucas Taylor and Jyare Davis signing here.

Not sure Lowe ends up at Miami now that Donaldson is going there.
Lowe will end up in Miami. He can play either guard spot. He has a no contact in the portal. Reports say it’s a done deal to Miami. I’m not sure why he would want to play along side Donaldson, but it seams that’s where he is headed. Maybe we can outbid them:)

Are we done? No. This post was extremely premature. We will add more players. A PG and another big.
