Yea, it seems like each year we wonder why the Yanks have 6 -7 decent starters and then by June the 7 starter is now #2 and we're starting some scrub from AA two times a week.

I don't see them going after anybody significant (maybe just form the junk pile) until the trade deadline. I think they probably feel good starting the season with Fried, Rodon, Schmidt, Stroman, and Warren. Carrasco might stick around too.

Keeping Stroman or the inability to trade him really worked out, he's a veteran guy they can really use. Hoping Carrasco can stick as well

They were desperate to dump his salary to get under that third luxury tax threshold. I can’t see them being able to justify such a move now. I hope I’m right.
