Manny diaz getting any votes is absurd. This same crew picked Syracuse to finish near the back of the standings and gives FB no respect. These voters are on crack.

According to PFF, Lewis was our best coverage guy by far, our 4th best tackler, and our best all around defender. He also played the 2nd most snaps behind Barron.

PBUs were among ACC leaders. When all else is roughly equal people go with stats.

Cals guy could be an average player, but 7 picks gets you 1st team no matter what else you are.

here’s the thing with Lequint…..


All season we talked about how we didn’t have a run game. Our game was awful etc.

While Allen had some spectacular moments for sure, I’m not sure he was consistent enough to earn anything but honorable mention.

I’m sure many are going to take offense to this and that’s okay.

I love Lequint as much as the next guy and this isn’t hate on him by any means but I can see why he landed where he landed.

If running the ball was the only metric I agree. but receiving and blocking should be considered, and weren’t. But the guy I have the problem with is Claiborne. When it’s so close, the guy who helped a team win should get the nod. LQA clearly did. Claiborne did not.

Lashlee is very deserving but Fran finishing 4th is absurd.

Two thoughts. Surprised at no votes for BOB and, whoever voted for Cristobal should never be given another chance to voice his opinion. Yikes.
