Got to meet and speak with the great Pearl Washington. Never forgot - the flight had mechanical problems and had to stop on the way for a part. Then we landed after midnight and all our bags were strewn on the tarmac. The news team used their camera lights to help all of us find our bags. Arrived at the team hotel which was the Intercontinental after1 am. Some drunken fan tried to get in our room at 4 am - thought it was his room!
