It was also a very specific weakness, the Chiefs woeful O-Line, which was masked by not getting penalties called on them all year, but under a microscope they could not hold out.

Best overall performance in a SB since Dallas in Pasadena in January 93.

The first one that came to mind for me was when Seattle destroyed Denver 11 years ago. The final score was 43-8 and the Seahawks were winning 36-0 late third quarter. But, very strangely, the Broncos had more first downs in that game (18-17), and only 30 fewer total yards. The 4-0 turnover differential did them in.

Much like last night Denver got a lot of yards late after the game was well in band. It was 29-0
before they went over 100 yards for the game. In 10-15 years people will look at the box score and think Mahomes played better than he did because of those two late garbage time touchdowns.

Dallas outmaneuvered themselves. Played rope-a-dope with Mike McCarthy, got rope-a-doped. Didn't conduct a full search, just elevated Schottenheimer, who, um, has not over-performed in any of his previous positions.

The only team whose owner is also the GM, and it shows. As does the fact that he's 83 years old.
