I guess open auditions begin today. Amazing how this season could have potentially been different if the team could have pulled out wins vs Washington and last night, but by not having someone to make field goals, it cancels everything. Hopefully the Yankees win tonight.

We are playing chess when rest of NFL is playing checkers.
They are all shooting for Lombardi Trophy. Hard to do.
We are aiming for annual top five draft pick.
Much easier.

I'm not even sure what we are playing. More like hide and seek. The offense was horrendous. The defense melted down. Gave Saquon no respect. Not sure what the coaches were thinking with single coverage on AJ Brown on 4th down.

This is year 3, I don't get the thought process that our GM and HC need more time when they have given us the worst team in the NFL. Sadly we will have the #1 pick in what seems to be a weak draft. Whether they stay or go, please do not take a QB. Either trade down or grab a OL guy or both. Taking a QB will just set us back another 5 years.

I like Daboll, but some guys do much better as coordinators than as Head Coaches. Schoen definitely should go. Even though there are some glimmers of hope in this years picks and acquisitions, you can't reward failure. They need a top QB. Not sure what the path to getting one is, but no way can they bring Jones back next year. In fact he never should have played the 2nd half after unable to pull the trigger on that play where he had two men open. He might do well as the QB of the Frankfort Galaxy.

Try and get Tyrod to be a place holder for a year or two. He is more capable than what you got now.
Trade down in the draft and get an OL. Maybe snag a WR prospect as well.
Sign a veteran, proven OL or two in free agency.

It's disappointing that no matter the GM the whiffs add up on first round picks.
I honestly think Jones is that bad and makes the guys around him worse. He's a tough guy with a strong arm and all of that, but he has no feel for the game. Be it gun-shy or the complete inability to throw guys open.
Wonder how much Mara steps on the scale for Jones.

Interesting that if they play Jones and he gets hurt they are out $23 million next yr.. But if the bench him they owe nothing.
he isn't making winning plays and reality is if they had a serviceable QB, they are probably a 4-5 and edge of playoffs this year.
