High Point does have some good players coming back. They return 3 of their top four leading scorers including Jack VanOverbeke (78 points), Brayden Maya (62), Nick Rizzo (33) and Jack Sawyer (32).  They are also due to get their main FOGO back, Colin Hoben who finished at 55% last year with 123 groundballs. Goalie is definitely a question for them as they didn't have a keeper with a 50% save percentage last year.

They did play some good teams last year, Duke, Georgetown, UNC, Richmond and St. Joe's. They were able to beat St. Joe's twice, but they lost pretty handily to everyone else: 8-20 against Duke, 10-22 vs Georgetown, 9-16 vs UNC, and 9-13 and 8-15 vs Richmond.

I don't think it's the worst matchup in the world, but not one of the first I would have chosen. They remind me a lot of a team like Albany, who won't do much for your RPI but who could definitely cause headaches if the ball bounces funny. I think it's important that if they are going to have teams like Albany, Hobart and High Point on the schedule, there really can't be any teams with an RPI in the 50s or 60s.  Also would have been nice to schedule this as a road game early in the year, given that one would think the weather down in NC would be halfway decent.  I personally think it would be good to get the team on the road a little sooner in the year.
