Just showed 99? Orange Bowl highlights that Jesse Palmer, ABC broadcaster, played in with Florida vs. us. Morlon Greenwood sighting on Palmer QB sneak for TD. We got beat but good enough to make the Orange Bowl. Oh, how I miss and yearn for those days. Will we ever get back there in my lifetime? I am 61 later this month.

I’m starting to think that giving teams an inordinately long time off and then asking them to fly halfway across the country for a game doesn’t result in quality football.

100%! I mean, Ohio State last night brought their C+ game at best, and, IMO, had a lot to due with the ridiculously long layoff (nearly 4 weeks). Undoubtedly, it was a significant contributing factor to them being rusty as all get out. Not a coincidence at all, again IMO, that the 'bye' teams are soon to be 0-6 after TT goes down within the half hour.

We watched different games. This game was brutally one-sided and should have been a 24+ point margin. Lanning left a lot of meat on the bone. TT offense could have played for another two hours and would not have gotten into the end zone.

Sure but Lanning plays that style and it failed him all game to score pts. Oregon got about 6 extra possessions with all the mistake plays and still only got 16 pts.

For all of the crap the ACC took all year about how bad we all were as a conference, it certainly looks like the Big12 sucked just as bad. TT offense is dead against a real team.

This should be a very good game. Remember to pop an aspirin to offset the constant blaring of the two bands and Joe Tessitore's screaming and hollering after every other play.

Tessitore is horrible.

He’s very impressive. Shows how good coaches can be at any level. He was at lower levels for too long.
