2025-26 CFB Playoff TV Schedule

Must be nice to be playing meaningful football this time of year. Meanwhile our season was well over by Halloween.

The poor stage crew guys. Two times they pushed the stage onto the field only to have to remove it. They were all looking like WT ??? Officials. Seriously they need to figure our how to play a game without them. Even though in this case, they were sort of right.

I think we see the playoffs go to 16 real soon. Can't have bye week teams going 1-7 the last two years and have no changes.

I think right now my rooting interests are...

1. Miami
.
.
.
.
2. Oregon
.
.
3. Ole Miss
.
4. Indiana

Great-We have conferences from all over the country represented. Big East, Pac-10, SEC, Big 10 or did I miss something?

This is the most likable CFP final four ever.

Ole Miss: what they're doing without their coaches is the coolest thing ever. Chambliss is an absolute baller.

Oregon: they have great fans and have been so close but unable to get over the hump. Oregon football is Syracuse basketball pre-2003.

Indiana: Cignetti's grumpy high school principal schtick can be tiring at times, but it's still Indiana who has never won anything in football in their history.

Miami: bringing some desperately needed dignity back to the ACC. Michael Irvin is insane, but CFB is more fun when they're part of the conversation.

I honestly do not understand posts like this.

We have to have some self-awareness. We aren't the type of school that gets to expect to be playing in the playoff. We are the type of school that if everything breaks right we could be in the conversation.

But to make that post AFTER the 4th 10 win season in program history AND a new coach that is bringing in levels of talent we haven't had around here since the 90s is just wild to me. And to say it during the season where our huge QB signing got hurt - and the season was pretty interesting up until that point! - is just weird.

Fran Brown is the type of variable a school like us needs to make that jump. He is far from perfect and needs to be surrounded by complementary skillsets - but my god we aren't going to compete by using the same playbook as the big boys. We don't have the resources for that playbook. We need an X-factor like Fran's recruiting and connections.

This probably isn't the thread for this take but my god, the sense of entitlement this fanbase has after 20 years of irrelevance is just shocking to me.

It's even worse on the basketball side.

Hit that one on the nose.
Maybe finally the experts will start realizing that Alabama is overrated, and so is the SEC.
They get so many teams rated in the top 25 at the beginning of the year their rankings don't go down because they beat each other.

That Ole Miss offense is so fun to watch. Chambliss is pretty amazing.

Now the ghost of Lane Kiffin will haunt them again this week as the assistants might have to start their new roles with LSU during portal season.

Tough call for the assistants. How do you walk out now?* Ole Miss is like a double digit seed going on a run in March Madness. They will remember this forever. Everyone is rooting for them. (*money, I know).

There should be no byes and no G6 schools in the CFP. There should be a second CFP for G6 teams scheduled in parallel. Each CFP should have 16 teams (or maybe 8 for G6).

All league champions get an automatic bid, all other slots are picked from a defined ranking system.

UConn is a G6; ND is a P4.
