That will be some serious math hedge for you to figure out if IU wins. Nothing better than watching a game knowing the only outcome is guaranteed cash
The ideal way to hedge is to bet on Oregon to win the national title at +290, but you have to probably do that at around 17x the amount of the original bets made on Miami and Indiana (assuming they're the same)...

For example...

If he has 100 on each of the first two bets...he should be 1700 (technically 1692) on Oregon at +290. In that case, he's guaranteed to net a profit of at least 4700 (rounding roughly) if either Oregon or Indiana wins and then 8208 if Miami wins.

If he wants to bet less, may be better doing a rollover on tonight's game on Oregon and then doubling down if Oregon wins. However, the math says to do the Oregon NC play.

Alll this time I knew you weren’t just a handsome face ! Thank god my scorecards don’t need this much figuring out lol

It's pretty rare for a college or NFL team to win a championship in their home stadium.

Has happened twice in the NFL: Bucs in 2020 and Rams in 2021. Outside chance for a third time this year with the Niners.

Last time in college would have been Miami winning the Orange Bowl in 1991.

They never won a title. Never had anything against Oregon. Kind of tired of the u.
Nah, no downside to an ACC team winning it all. When is the last time a current B12 team won? It has been 20 years since Texas, Oklahoma, or Nebraska won one.

It would be nice for the ACC to gobble up B12 teams someday, rather than be gobbled up.

and if its done at a legal book. you are losing 25-30% off each bet before you collect anything

What does syracuse get out of Miami winning it all? The acc already gained respect by Miami winning these three games. FYI the acc and acc refs have done everything possible to screw us at every possible turn.

Championships in the NFL and CFB aren't played in the north. Miami has a much better chance than most if not all teams in CFB to host their own title.

I looooooove Hoosiers tonight (might add some more if this somehow gets all the way to -2.5) and I've already bet a Miami lookahead vs Oregon so I'm just letting it ride.

Don't get me wrong either of them hitting would be a pretty penny but definitely not life changing money. For context I bet lots of golf and off the top of my head at least three outrights last year were substantially bigger than this. Shoutout Harris English and Aldrich Potgieter. Lol.

Generally agree with the math but I'm a total degenerate who lives for a nice sweat so if I'm wrong tonight I'm still just going to sit on my 3.5 and pace around my house for four hours next Monday. I wish i freaking put more on Miami. I knew they were getting in selection Sunday morning but the path seemed almost impossible.

The flattening of the sport due to portal/NIL has made this all so much more fun than it would have been five years ago.

Older son went to IU, younger son got his PhD from Oregon, taught there for 7 years, and is a diehard Duck.

Bittersweet for me because one has to lose but I will try to be impartial. Needless to say, I am all in on the winner to beat Miami. Blood is thicker than conference affiliation.
