They wanted worse refs but the ACC and B1G are both represented in the game so they went with a Big 12 crew.

As a good parent, you inherently sacrifice a lot of your time and own interests for your kids. It’s not always about money. She has a fear of flying so has driven to every Miami away game throughout the country. That’s a lot of time in a car. I think that’s what they are referring to. She’s doing what it takes to support her kid.

She drives. Won't fly. Father died a couple of years ago. She has driven to every game, even when they played at Cal last season.
