Somehow I think he would have been fine if his record was goodwith cause. not for record.

No idea if that was a motivator to find cause and terminate him, and I haven't watched the actual press conference, but I really don't have a problem with the quotes in the article. The players are professionals many earning multiples of the fans who pay them. If they don't try, they deserve this type of talk. And a high level athlete should use that as motivation not sulk about it.This may have been the last straw:

They always do.Despicable. The school will settle but after paying their attorneys they will end up saving money unless Tang refuses to budge, but then he needs to pay his attorney. Bottom line: the attorneys win.
K State is despicable for doing this. I hope their loser school goes bankrupt.![]()

The question is, though, would he have gone off like that about his players if his record was good?Somehow I think he would have been fine if his record was good

If they had a better record it would mean they weren’t habitually coming up short. So he wouldn’t have the pent up angst to blow a gasket. I guess history tells us what would happen. Has he ever done this before ?The question is, though, would he have gone off like that about his players if his record was good?
I didn't either. Looks like he should have stayed in TV but I'm sure he made much more money coaching SD.I had no idea he was coaching again.
They always do.
I live in San Diego and had no idea he was coachingI had no idea he was coaching again.

Yes he had prostate cancer about 15 years ago during his stint with St John’s but returned to coach because I thought treatment was successful.I do remember he had cancer back in the day. Not sure if any health issues recently
Never heard of it, learned something new. Looked it up and saw that it is a thing. Just quicker aging effects after weight loss.Classic ozempic face
