They've had fairly easy schedules the last two seasons, and while the Oregon win was impressive, not many of the other wins were.

Yes, it's still a lot of money regardless if he wins them a natty this year.

He's a great coach though, and we wouldn't be complaining if we were in their shoes.

He accepted the offer to coach wide receivers and be the assistant head coach on January 5th. He is taking a job as RB coach at BC about ten days later.
How would you feel if your employee made a commitment and then quickly changed their mind?

It happens. Especially in college football. And it happens at Syracuse.

I would say it happens with about 25% of the people we hire. People are looking and often get offers from multiple places and you don't get to always put off taking one while waiting on another.
