2025-26 NBA

For Knicks fans, one of the greatest accomplishments of your new addition Jordan Clarkson is when he played right along with one of the funniest unintentionally comedic man on the street interviews of all-time.

No thanks. LeBron can't get out of the 1st round by himself anymore. Trading away Josh Hart, Mitchell Robinson and Mikal Bridges (which is what it would take, salary-wise) would leave the Knicks as probably the worst defensive team in the league. That rumor is totally being pushed by LeBron's representation. They think the Knicks would bite, but it would destroy the team. The team with the most cap space is the Nets. Why don't you go there, LeBron?
They could theoretically just swap Towns for LeBron (and presumably Bronny) if the Lakers have any interest in Towns.

Wonder if the 61 million dollar player option for 27-28 would be a roadblock here. The Lakers seem to not trying to sign players longer than two years.

Haliburton officially out for the season as expected. And Turner is gone. The Pacers are probably going to tank, now that they got their pick back, and get their books in order to pounce next summer.

Those Pelicans draft week trades now look even worse.

They essentially traded two picks that are lotto bound.
The 2026 Pacers first round pick.
The 2026 Worst of NO and MIL pick.
for
Derek Queen,

Even if we view the trade in the context of Queen being a #6-#8 level pick (which is valid enough) its an insane risk to take, that just keeps getting worse. It will get even worse when Zion inevitably gets hurt,

Yeah.

Because Zion's fat.

I think Indiana will still be in the playoff hunt but we'll see. If you told me their offense completely crumbles without Haliburton I wouldn't argue it, but that roster has a lot of talent still.

Just unfortunate they lost the guy that stirs the drink.

Is this a Flagg post? NBA.com's headline today was "Flagg impresses in Summer League debut" lol. I will be surprised if he actually turns out to be a bad NBA player but idk how anyone could have watched last night and come away impressed.

He impacts the game at a high level without scoring. He's Detlef Schempf with a defensive game. In the league his game is going to blossom playing with better scorers. He's not MJ but he is impressive.

You picked a good comparison: Flagg vs MJ. Flagg vs. The GOAT. I can see MJ over Flagg from the foul line. ;)

I think you may not understand how good Schrempf was
