2025-26 NBA

This is a completely dead league as far as I'm concerned. I've been a Knicks fan for a long time, I've watched around 80% of games going back years. This is the first time in my life the team has had an extended run of success and relevance, but I've watched maybe 2 total games since the Olympics. Watching Olympic hockey and having to go back to the NBA completely killed my interest in the NBA. It is simply a horrible product with no signs of improvement. Something has gone terribly wrong when someone like me who watched almost every game of the Derek Fisher era Knicks is now saying I have no enjoyment watching the NBA.
At no point in that paragraph did you help us understand what makes it a horrible product, and why there are no signs of improvement.

There is a competition problem in the league. Too many teams don't want to compete. That said when it's two teams that care (want to win,) the quality of play is insane.
In my opinion this "the NBA stinks" stuff always is highlighted at NCAA tournament time when fans confuse close games with well played games. Duke vs UCONN being the latest example.

Well said. The shot making in the nba is so good some people confuse it with a lack of defense. Many times the shots are very well contested but the offense is just better.

And anyone who watches the Celtics when they are moving the ball and making the extra pass for a great shot just doesn’t understand basketball.

There’s no such thing as “freedom of speech” within a private enterprise like the NBA. Words/actions have consequences - whether you agree with what he said or not - and he found that out. Have no fear though, I’m sure he’ll monetize all of this through some “woe is me” persecution grift, which is all the rage these days.
I wonder what (if anything) the CBA says.

The Spurs Nuggets game was incredible. Just unbelievable stuff.

Also worth pointing out that the Bulls still had to pay him for the rest of the season. They just got rid of a guy who was seemingly annoying the out of everyone (and also probably going through some kind of serious mental breakdown)

Yeah once in a blue moon outside 40pt blowouts you’ll find a game like that.

Hopefully more to be had in the postseason. All I really care for these days is ball in May.
