What would Atlanta be if they didn't take Risacher at the top a few years ago. Take the other French guy, Castle...when the #1 pick can't even see the floor in playoffs - not good.Cj was really cooking him. They’ve done a decent enough job on Johnson and naw. And if you look at it overall; the hawks offense hasn’t been great. But it was rough down the stretch Monday.
Kat is also a little to blame; I saw a clip of him Monday night with Kuminga on him where’s he’s trying to get post position and is just totally lost. But anytime he has Okongwu or Bradley on him and they aren’t involving him in the action is a complete missed opportunity
Nice to see Atlanta hold them offNice little run by the Knicks to cut the lead to 4.
Hawks look better without Trae.Nice to see Atlanta hold them off
Bridges and Hart combining for 2 points is just ridiculous. Overrated.Mikal is a waste of space and should never dribble more than 3 bounces in a possession. Just horrendous.
Brunson is getting torched on both ends. Ball dies, moves are predictable, can’t score over length. Dude has been awesome for the Knicks but the Hawks have him figured out. Ball pressure when he crosses halfcourt, play to cut off the drive because you can recover on his step back with your length. Make him a passer, which he’s surprisingly bad at.
But the real problem is Mike Brown. Haven’t seen anything good from him all season. Team plays uninspired defense. Offense is just ‘let KAT cook’ or ‘let Brunson cook.’ Some bench lineups have terrible chemistry; nobody looks like they know what they’re supposed to do or where to be.
The Hawks are an okay team. They play solid defense. The Knicks look hopeless for a team that was projected preseason to win the East.
Knicks would have been better off with Divencenzo. Bridges is just mentally soft.
Does he though?I bet on the Knicks last night thinking order would be restored and they were extremely likely to cover 1.5. I figured Game 2 was a fluke. Looks like series is a coin flip at this point. I feel bad for Tim Chalamet, he deserves better than this.
