Cool what does that have to do with our needs and our team construction? A bunch of players have a long list of suitors. Our shooting guards arent three point shooters can’t pair them with a point guard that also isn’t a three point shooter that is a disaster waiting to happen

Yup and no way he can just not be a good three point shooter those don’t exist ever. In the portal why pay for projection and hope ? Pay for someone proven and someone who compliments your team better especially as a starter.

People need to realize we haven't been good for awhile. There are 40+ schools with the same NIL as us that have winning track records over the last 5+ years. When you have a freshman PG averaging 14/4 in the B10 that wants to come to syracuse that's a take every single time

Isn't projection and hope what you're paying for in the portal? You hope they fit into your team's system. You hope they will grow as a player. You project that they will lead to more wins for your team. Who knows? Maybe he's religious and could lead the team in prayer. Apparently that is a trait some are adding to the mix these days.

That may be all we can get until we can win. Who is getting the "unflawed" portal players because their aren't a lot of them out there. Those players are going to Bama, Michigan, Uconn, Kentucky etc.. Those teams have more NIL, brand recognition, and a track record of winning. It's not always up to Syracuse if we get those types of players if they don't want to come here and to be honest why would they want to

Every player has flaws. You think the guys we’ve signed so far are flawless?

Correct and when you build a team you can’t sign multiple players with the same flaws. If we have SGs that can’t shoot from deep then we can’t also sign a PG that cant shoot from deep.
