Class of 2026 2025-26 Portal

I think it’s a smart play. Agents want deals done quickly and at top of the market. The kids that are willing to take a little bit more time are best for both sides vs those focused only on getting paid.
It’s definitely smart. Notice not many players have committed anywhere. I think most teams are dealing with the mindset that nah we ain’t giving you 4-5 million.

Huge pass on Ethan Roberts. His numbers have fallen off a cliff against good competition every season.

Probably getting too down in the weeds now, but I wonder what OP considers to be a mid-major vs. small conference. In my mind, Ivy League wouldn't be a mid-major maybe I'm being too strict.
Thought the same when Charleston Southern was mentioned …

I'm not sure there's actually any "true" mid majors who would fit that definition.

I'll throw out another name that seems to fit. Nolan Minessale 6'5 averaged 20/4/4 from Saint Thomas was first team all Summit League. Also if you do a quick dive into him a few scouting profiles note his long wingspan for his size

Yeah, anywho, if we're super lax about what's considered mid-major, I'll go with Dennis Parker Jr. from Radford. Was at NC State his first two years, former 4 star recruit. We're confirmed to have contacted his teammate Del Jones already who also went from ACC-->Radford. 6'6" and "has good length". And he narrowly edged out Jones for the team lead in scoring.

I have a feeling we already have things locked up at point guard and probably center as well. Excited to find out who.

I don't think we have anything locked up, just that we don't have any interest in a reunion with Westry.

The SGs/Wings are shaping up nicely getting someone like him with Doty and Kiyan. Really need that PG tho …

30% from 3 that fits what we are looking from our shooting guards.
