2025 End Of Season Coaching Changes

Don Brown would be an absolute home run "co" DC with ERob. ERob would learn a lot and could take over the play calling aspect again in a year or two.
Keeping the Doc as D consulant is the correct move *if he wants to stay at that
Call him our blitz specialist consulant or whatever lol
He is getting up in age and not sure how much of the grind he will have left in him

You left out the injuries! And it takes more than a year to develop freshman that were playing! But hey you have all the answers! SMH!
He also had transfer players who were expected to be plug-and-play.

So changes to the staff are:

Gone Special Teams Coach
Gone Offensive Line Coach
Gone Linebacker and CO/DC
Gone DB Coach
And a demotion for ERob
Going by cuse.com and updates here, and splitting out the roles (redundantly maybe):

OC: Nixon / Johnson
QB: Johnson
RB: Nixon
WR: Gattis
TE: Nunzio
OL: ?

DC: ? / ERob
DE: Williams
DT: ERob
LB: ?
DB: ? / Fran?
S: ?

ST: ?

We have 7 of 11 "regular" coaching spots filled atm. If nothing else changed, we would need coaches for OL, DC, LB, DB, and ST. The new DC is likely to pick up LB or some of the DB/S load I assume, especially if it's someone who has been a DC before and isn't learning on the job.

Very curious to see if anything else happens on offense.

Idk, but he is a strong recruiter so that's a very good question.
Between him and ERob I keep hearing "Strong recruiter" but I've yet to see someone come up with concerete examples of studs that they have landed. Not trying to play devil's advocate - I just want to know how much of this is myth versus actual results. That's important to gauge because the scheme and the DL technique (setting the edge, stunts, etc) has been non-existent. Basically - we need proof that they can bring in talent because they are failing at other areas of their job.

Small details on the offense side:

Nunzio is Offensive Associate Head Coach/Tight Ends
Johnson is Co-Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks
Might have some movent with those titles

You missed Assistant Head Coach. Used to be Erob. Likely being used as a chip for new DC

we need someone a bit more experienced and proven than Brown.

I left the AHC stuff out of it but it's worth mentioning, yeah.

Purely IMO, I think that it makes sense to strip the AHC role from ERob because he needs to figure out how to be a DC first or else his career is stalled out. I expect Nunzio to remain on staff and be AHC because that's where his path leads, HC at a lower-level school.

What happens with Johnson and Gattis, that's the one to watch IMO.

I have a feeling Gattis is going to become Co-OC
