2025 NFL Thread

I was rooting for the Bills, but I’m not to would up about the INT like everyone else. If no defender is there the receiver has to survive the ground. That didn’t happen on that play. The issue is the NFL hasn’t been consistent with that call however I think yesterday it was right.
The ball was taken, he didn’t lose it

I’ll say if there’s one coach that can gameplan a win with a backup QB in limited time you have him.
Yeah my dad and I discussed this morning and both of us agreed, we're less than concerned. I'm sure we're in the minority.
Bo hasn't played great lately, and not great yesterday either. Not bad, but nothing great. Stidham is a very competent qb. Now I realize me saying that isn't including in the AFC chip, but I'm good with just letting the chips fall where they may if it's no blatant shenanigans going on.
I believe this team is built to have a decent game manager and win against anyone. Like all season, just make it grimy and a rock fight.

PFF had Bo having a good game. I’d gather the biggest difference is lack of mobility.

Yeah I did see most metrics had him as having a good game, just me personally expecting more I guess.

Yeah the mobility is the one thing I said I was concerned about when it was announced.

The funny thing is players and people connected to the Broncos say Sean Payton won't change his game plan what so ever outside of a few less runs, but he will be running as well. Everything I'm hearing insiders say is the staff is really jacked up to show off Stidham. Said he will sling it.

Now I have found that Payton says things, like JB says things, and you have to read between the lines to parse it out, but him and his staff are not shying away at all.

At the end of his career Brees was always injured. Over his last two seasons the saints went 8-1 combined with Bridgewater and Taysum Hill starting.

The NFC North's special kinda hate for field goals hasn't done the Bears many favors tonight.
You’re not wrong. Ben Johnson has been terrible tonight. Probably would be playing for the win right here had he kicked 2 fg’s.

Even I would've kicked that first one.
I do hate the selection bias in the discourse. No talk show will rip Ryans for kicking short wimpy FGs tomorrow, but they probably should.

Wasn’t even a push off sufficient for that much space. Did the db just get lost or tired?
