2025 NFL Thread

I hated my Arizona survivor pick going as they cannot be trusted but it was definitely an anti Tennessee pick. Everything going fine up 21-6 early 4th quarter their RB breaks away for a TD run but the freaking moron does the whole "I think it's cool to the drop the ball thing" before he actually crosses the goal line. After that the D can't get stops, Tennessee gets a fluky TD to get within 2 and the dumbass coaches go ultra conservative putting the game in the gassed defense's hands.
I was a victim, too. Brutal

5 of the next 7 games for the Chiefs:

Lions
Commanders
Bills
Broncos
Colts
Damn and Denver's looks pretty soft for the next month. If they win that first game at home...
I just cannot wrap my head around Bo Nix beating Mahomes for the division in 2025.

It was quite nice seeing the back breaking PI call in the endzone called against KC last night. Since Taylor snubbed the NFL for the halftime show I wonder if the message has been sent from the top to call KC games down the middle from now on.

He’s off to a slow start but Nix was better than Mahomes the 2nd half of last year.

I think the next 30 for 30 needs to be on the bizarro use of replay across the sports. Another dozen or so reviews that make no sense yesterday in college and I am sure we will see the same number today judging by this Jets game

It's nuts how many QBs (college and pro) that will get outside the pocket, see their guys are covered then take a five yard sack running OB instead of just throwing it past the line of scrimmage. Or put it up for grabs like Jordan Love just did when all he had to do was throw it OB. I can't help but think that some times their motivation is they don't want an incompletion to hurt their stats. This happens several times each week. Kinda like a hooper that won't take a shot from 50+ feet out at the buzzer at the end of the 1H in order to protect his 3PG%.

case in pt the Jets fumble. Its catch/2 steps/ then football move or 3rd step. The replay dude know his own rules?
The catch rule is intentionally vague so Goodell can shape the agenda.

It’s maddening

The "let them score" pendulum has swung too far and melted brains.
McConkey happily runs out of bounds on the big gain at the end. RedZone guy says he should've stayed in. I'll take option C how about IDK..scoring the bleeping TD to go up 5 with 20seconds left? Yeesh

and covering the spread while he's at it.

I’m FINE with the hold on McBride in the end zone not being called. But then don’t call all the other much less egregious crap you call on the regular

Outside of the Bucs, Seahawks, Chargers, Cowboys, and Patriots the entire league has turned into a bunch of checkdown charlies. Mahomes and Goff didn't even look to throw the ball down the field last night. It makes for a lot of incredibly boring football.

Chiefs desperately need a win and respond w/ 60 mins of penalty-free football!!

Who'd have thought that was possible?
When I saw that PI that set up the Chiefs I think second TD is was blatantly obvious Goodell had decreed there's no way KC is going 2-4 tonight.

They didn't even have the decency to tack on a few at the end of the game to make the stat sheet appear more balanced to those that didn't watch the game like they used to do with Brady era Patriots. I don't get mad anymore I just take the free money with KC -2.5 last night.
