Roy comes into the Wyndam #78 on Fed Ex pts list. Top 100 is secure for next year's card. Needs a strong performance to get into top #70 for the playoffs?!?!?!? So far so good today. Shot 66 (-4) for T19 after day 1.

was in the process of crapping the bed with a double bogey just before the rainout. Sits at -1 with a projected cut line of -3. Needs to make up those shots lost on the double over his last 4 holes to have any chance at the cut.

That was a heck of a shot by Scheffler, it was Tigeresque. 5 wins this year, 7 last, quite an accomplishment.

I think that was the shot that introduced Scottie to the larger sports world. Very Tigeresque and awesome. I have a friend who thinks he's boring and bad for golf. I couldn't disagree more.

Keegan should pick himself. He's more than deserving. PGA of America was very shortsighted in making him captain just because he got screwed by Zach Johnson who was terrible. Brutal spot for Keegan to be in.

Sounds like Burns is getting picked thanks to Scottie, which I take no issue w/. My other five would be Keegan, Harman, JT, Cam Young, and Ben Griffin.

I don't see the problem with Keegan playing; he has, what, 5? co-captains to deal with stuff - what do these guys do? What does the captain need to do; determine the line-up for the day which has already been analyzed to death before competition starts. I can see the media responsibilities being burdensome, but again, let your co-captains handle some of that.

It's a lot to take on but doable. Ideally, he'd focus just on golf. PGA of America messed up big time.
