At Cal but home for Stanford? How does that make any sense?

Has anyone heard if Bikyeombe is still with the team. Really hope so. Has a lot of potential!

He isn’t listed on the 2025 roster so I am thinking he is not. They have not added the many incoming transfer and frosh but it looks like they went through the process of removing those whose eligibility ended or left the program.

Hoping the roster is updated to include the newcomers soon.

Same the Roster seemed really incomplete. Tried doing reasearch and it did not mention him transferring anywhere. Maybe he wasn’t available for the spring games as most players listed where from those 6 outings.

We play 5 of the 8 ranked teams. Which is unlikely given there are only 8 conference games.

We again play SMU, Cal and Stanford. Pretty sure the NC schoools are getting very preferential treatment for soccer, along with football and basketball. Everyone should have to travel equally.

I believe the only ranked opponent we play OOC is Cornell.

Roster has been updated. The Grand Canyon transfer is wearing 9. Perfect striker number.

No Bikyeombe, but I'll live :(

My early guess at the starting lineup:

GK Hut
D Omeze
D Wigg
D Bell or Frias
D Mensah
M Scott
M Leibold
M Noeding
M Zambrano or Fortier or Ming
Nutornutsi
Acquah

Noeding is a senior transfer who was the NAIA national player of the year.

Nutornutsi was All WAC the last two seasons for Grand Canyon. He is a goal scorer.

Bradaric could be a sneaky rotation piece. 6'4 and played all over Germany.

They desperately need goal scorers.

I think Acquah is almost a given to start up top. He played a lot last year.

If it isn’t Nutornutsi as the other forward, I would think it would be Ming.

Now Giona could also play at forward. He has a lot of experience and can score goals. And I believe he has played some at forward as well.

If Nutornutsi (what a name) is not ready for prime time, I think he ends up our leading scorer. Really hope he finds a way to stay healthy this season.

Otherwise, we will be counting on a true frosh. I don’t think we want that. Maybe one of the youngsters will surprise.

There are again a lot of new names on the roster. Omeze, Wigg and Hut are the only guys I think might make a preseason All ACC team. The strength of this team appears to be the defense. Some of our most promising young players are fullbacks. Bell and Holman in particular.

Da Costa is also really talented and has a real shot at starting or playing a lot at midfield or maybe attack.
