Men's Soccer 2025 Schedule

Hi Guys. First time posting over here. I'm planning to take my son and daughter to their first Cuse soccer game on Aug 28 v Penn State

Is there anything I need to know before going? Do we need to purchase tickets before going or can we just grab tickets there? And where's the best place to park for soccer games?

Once again, never been. Any help would be appreciated!

I believe the games are free. There are no tickets.

Get there early if you want a good seat. Capacity is only about 1500 and I would expect a large crowd.

You park at the Manley lots. Get as close to the soccer stadium as possible. There probably won’t be much in the way of food or drink available, there so bring stuff with you.

I suggest you print off the roster so you know who the players are. There are a fair number of new faces. Watch Bright. I have a feeling he will be fun to root for this season.

Are rotten tomatoes provided to throw at the Penn State players or should he bring his own?

All good advice, but there should be some concessions, but I have never seen anyone stopped for bringing their own. Alcohol, probably not.

There is a truck outside with concessions. But it being an 8 pm game, you can probably get food beforehand because the food is not great

2-0 goal by New-ta- lutche (phonetic sp) after give away by M goalie

Hydration break

Fr Martinez-Bastides starts 2nd half in goal.
I am only watching but it is hot.

Also, one SU player in a boot and one wearing a sling. Do not know who they are.

Great save by SU goalie on long M free kick but then dropped second long one after yellow card on SU. Bad call on the card

Appeared to be playing a 4-4-3 with the starters being:

Omeze
Brdaric
Holman
Mensah

Scott
DaCosta
Ming

Acquah
Zambrano
Nutornutsi

Too fast and physical for M, especially in the 2nd half. Could have had more than 4, a second shot hit the crossbar and a few other good chances.

Subs after the first hydration break included: Rodriguez, Wigg, Noeding, Lugton, Darko, and Ibraheem.

Omeze looks better. You will like Nutornutsi.

Team seemed more athletic and physical but maybe that was the competition. St. John’s will obviously be a better measuring stick.

Sorry no reports on Saturday
