2025 Spring Practice/Game

The Clemson game of 2023? The one we lost by 17? He had 2 catches. We were thoroughly dominated.

You can be objective and notice his limitations, like blocking, which got Kyle sacked/LeQuint stuffed in the backfield multiple times last season. He dropped multiple first downs last year as well. Do you watch the games?
He meant the GT game where he completed 14 of 14 and had 12 carries for 81 yards. When healthy Dan can do a variety of things … jack of all trades, master of none but he plays with more guts than most. Try to at least cut him some slack the dude had more tape holding him together than a 78 Pinto.

Hey this Dan Villari discussion would pair well with the Devito and Dungy discussion in the Devito thread. Here I will help you guys out.
"Grrr...grrr...Villari was way better than Dungy and Devito, no contest! Though Dungy was tougher!!".
Good to go.

If he was that hurt, than the staff should be questioned for continuing to run him out there last season. Him and Mang were consistent weak links, especially in the running game.

Let's hope it was the injury.

And if that was the case then why did Clement not get more PT? Hopefully Clement is ready this year. He is pretty much the only blocking TE option in 2025.

It's a great question.

Was Villari/Mang the best option, or was the staff honoring their seniority? Will be curious to see what the offense looks like this season.

I always think of what Dino said when asked why Ravian Pierce wasn't getting more action. TE's must first be great blockers to be able to have the opportunity to catch the ball. Of course, then they have to be able to catch the ball...

And they have to avoid getting 15 yard penalties after they catch the ball.

Some of the freshman are posting on their Instagram stories, their 2 month body transformations. So far Byron Washington has gone from 27% body fat to 24%, and Darius Johnson has gained 20lbs.
Hopefully we’re at the end of touted OL coming in and putting on more bad weight than they arrived with.

We all miss the Rav Dog

Axe and the new beat writer do a podcast. I try and listen when I can. They mentioned potential true or redshirt freshman that have impressed.

Obviously Samuel is a given but they mentioned Davion Kerr (Kerr 2?), Darius Johnson, and Jaylen Hornsby as players who have looked good during the limited media viewing.
