Agreed, basically it requires someone who buys excess tickets and doesn't need all the parking passes they can qualify to buy
 
All of this is also one reason that not actually knowing your donor rank makes it hard to make decisions.

it doesn't take much money to jump a donor level at the bottom rungs, but since you don't know the ranking you don't really know the value of pumping money into jumping spots.

It was said 5 tickets gets you 2. Not sure what the heartburn is here. Absolutely possible for someone to have a pass they are not using.
 
the whole process is already shutting out people who used to get passes in west lots and now we want people to buy extras just to let other people have a better chance to shut others out,

more tickets not only gets you more passes but in many cases it bumps you ahead of the donor line as well.

I get the process of people who spend more get more perks, but the perk is you get to buy first, you shouldnt also get to buy more first when the inventory is so limited.

You can only buy parking passes per a formula of how many season tickets you hold.

If you want your parking spot buying odds to go up...donate more money

Again, who is buying “more”? Passes are tied to 4 ticket increments. Nobody is buying nine tickets to purchase two passes for some rando.

This whole thread is ridiculous.
 
people on this board have often pointed out buying 1-2 more to get to the number to buy more passes. They are not tied to buying 4, if you have 4 just buy one more $100 ticket,

Its a perk that some take advantage of. People on the tailgate have mentioned buying extra passes so that others in the tailgate could get there easier

and now with digital passes its even easier to offload the extra passes or even sell them for a profit if demand was high enough as inventory keeps going down.

yes. you can increase your chances to get passes. buy you can also increase how many you can get.

Much like Wegmans has a limit on how many eggs you can buy because not everyone can get some or afford to by multiple dozens at a time.

Sure its a give and take. Reward for donating more money and/or buying more tickets. You get first shot at the best seats and the best passes and also can buy the most. People with the most tickets are also mostly the people who can afford to spend extra money to take advantage of the perk. We have a small market fanbase. Sharing some should also be some consideration.

If passes were really tied to 4 tickets maybe that would offset some of it. But its not really since the majority of people do not buy 1 ticket. I don't what the medium number is but its not 1.

Nothing says it has to be fair. I just think it could be fairer. Having more than X tickets lets you double dip but more like donuts at the office. You dont get a 2nd until everyone had the shot to get one.

maybe the sweet spot should be 6 not 5. I dont know. Most everyone is driving a vehicle that holds 5 these days. We had 8 tickets for years and were never allowed to buy a 2nd pass. Many times sure it would have been useful. But we made do.

Ahh. Gotcha now.. I my mind I was adding on the notion that someone went crazy and was buying an extra ticket to go from 2 to 3 passes or 3 to 4.

The dates and times email hasn't come out yet but in your Cuse.com account is a countdown clock that shows how many days, hours, mins and seconds until you select.

do you know what the first day is? Curious what my window means.

I logged into my account and got it. Also browsed season tickets but assume the availability map doesn’t account for what’s available. Because if it does we’re selling every game out.

The first day is May 28. Don’t know what time but I assume about 9am? And yes, the current map of availability isn’t everything that will be available during the upgrade.

They told me today they emailed everyone 3 weeks ago about the process and the donor levels, I didnt get the email though

I got it and I think I got it more than once. The sender was Syracuse University Athletics.
