I think they no longer like LeMahieu’s arm for 3B. I assume the plan is to platoon Vivas and LeMahieu at 2B, which does not excite me. Both of them currently have 44 wRC+. Maybe they think it’s easier to find a 2B than a 3B on the trade market.

I hate Apple broadcasts as much as the next guy, but being an old guy, I’d prefer a metric I understand like batting average, over things like WRC+ and OPS+ that I don’t really understand or care about.
