2025 Yankees Season

I just gotta say, I have a bit of a love/hate with Portnoy...

The good: I like his pizza reviews and what he does for pizza shop small businesses, and how he saved and advocates for rescue dogs, etc.

...but... To say he has personal "issues" is an understatement.

Also, he's a Red Sux homer to fault, thin-skinned, and has some sordid personal bahavior history to to say the least.

Also, he constantly refers to himself as some sort elite "triple crown" baseball player and home run hitter. Evidently he was actually pretty good - in highschool in Swampscott, MA. He claims a shoulder injury sidelined his college and pro career... OK, so why do you have to pretend your triple-crown highschool stint makes you a pro hitter?? It's cringeworthy.

This was a great chuckle...

Also love that Chisolm went after him as the pro baseball "nobody" that he is:

I feel the same way about those oven mitt things base runners use these days. A physicist at Betty Crocker studied short arm players on the Red Sox (those scum bag cheaters) and realized a slightly longer reach could improve their chances of stealing bases. A physicist at Betty Crocker who probably never played a game of baseball in his life. I took home ec in high school (to hang with the hot girls) and could bake a cake with the best of them. But I never used an oven mitt. I also never went out with any of the hot girls but thats not the point. Point is oven mitts are ruining baseball and should be banned before so many runners are getting in scoring position that scoring runs becomes pointless.

Are the Yankees one of, if not the, only team with an ad for submarines at their stadium (the green silhouette on the bullpen wall in the HR clips)?

The primary repair base is Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, in Kittery, Maine. The folks in Kittery are quick to remind people that the Naval Prison was in New Hampshire, while the shipyard is in Maine (opposite sides of the river).
