For the record, the guy last night was worse. But yeah, it was a weird game. Even when the Yanks were ahead they never looked comfortable. Erratic umpiring can put a team off balance. Houston seemed to get past it, though, even if NY didn't. And they waited an inning too long to get Stanton off the field. He looked like he'd never played in the field before. And that's certainly not on the ump.

All good points. I also thought the last pitch to Jazz was a little too close to take. Mattingly would have fouled that off for sure.

Not arguing about Williams' suckage, but there was plenty of blame to go around last night. Boone trying to steal an out in the 6th with Warren. Cruz, Weaver, and Doval also sucked.
