Cam Schlittler would have started tonight, but he is dealing with discomfort near his right biceps. The Yankees sent him for an MRI which Boone said came back clean. Hoping to slot him back during Toronto series as well.
Rodon due to start Monday.
Tonight will be a bullpen game for the Yankees behind Ian Hamilton. No real bulk reliever, though Rico Garcia and JT Brubaker may go multiple innings.
Luis Gil is scheduled to throw 55-60 pitches tonight for Double-A Somerset. If it goes well, his next start would be July 23 for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, then a potential activation.
Ryan Yarbrough - Continuing throwing program but has not tossed from a mound
Mark Leiter Jr. - Continues throwing program. Hoping for bullpen July 21-24 at Toronto
Fernando Cruz - Recovery is going well, could resume playing catch this weekend
