early lead but closers blow it. again. that's the nutshell. and just a reminder , as i posted before his trade to the padres we had a chance to land 26 year old mason miller.
my post from august 7th...

you ask yerself ...do i need an outfielder or a flame throwing closer ?"

so yes he wouldda cost us some prospects but we are already 2 deep at most positions.
but lack a true closer. and so now what are the talking heads saying about his trade in october ?
