That's nutsVegas has us 62% to win tomorrow night
I wouldn't even begin to predict how Thursday's game will go, but if Schlitter can closely duplicate his last start, that would be a huge bonus. But, it should be all hands on deck.This is crazy outside the box, but why wouldn’t Cora go with Bello with a few innings tomorrow. He barely pitched tonight.
That was one weird ass win, but I'll take it.
Tomorrow will be no less stressful, but given the bullpen use from each team, I'm feeling good about it.
Cora went from trusting Crochet to throw 117 pitches to pulling Bello after 28.
Definitely Johnny Wholestaff tomorrow night.I wouldn't even begin to predict how Thursday's game will go, but if Schlitter can closely duplicate his last start, that would be a huge bonus. But, it should be all hands on deck.
I'll never defend Cashman but Boone letting Rice rot on the bench for the entirety of Game 1 is on the nerds/Boone. I don't care if it's lefty / lefty he's one of your hottest hitters right now.I am not saying Boone is a great Manager, I've always felt that he is just a "yes man". He does what the analytics folks tell him.
What decision did he make that had the high priced team only score a single run? The offense lost the game, not Boone. Year after the year, the team is poorly constructed.
Look !!!
Ben Rice !!!
<Insert Boone sucks comment here>
For some reason this dummy of a manager gives Rodon more rope than Fried.SOMEONE GO TO THE MOUND
Once 2026 starts we'll be inside the 2 yrs remaining that Hal feels comfortable cutting a dude, like DJLM this past season.If the Yankees lose this game at least we won't have to suffer through another Stanton grounder, K or fly out until next year, some time in July when he's recovered from his yearly injury
You know the script the nerds will hand Boone tonight will be pull Schlittler once he goes through order twice. If Cam is shoving I hope for once Boone actually watches the game and sticks with the kid if he's dominating.I wouldn't even begin to predict how Thursday's game will go, but if Schlitter can closely duplicate his last start, that would be a huge bonus. If he is rolling I hope he at least keeps him in through 6. Having a multiple run lead would definitely help that decisionYou know the script the nerds will hand Boone tonight will be pull Schlittler once he goes through order twice. We all need to yell loud enough for Boone to hear, "IT'S THE ELIMINATION GAME!!!"You know the script the nerds will hand Boone tonight will be pull Schlittler once he goes through order twice. People forget that Mariano pitched 3 innings that game.We all need to yell loud enough for Boone to hear, "IT'S THE ELIMINATION GAME!!!"
And, in a strange twist of things, the game that Boone is famous for, he might never would have gotten an opportunity for a walk off, because if he was the manager, he never would have let Mariano pitch three innings. But, fortunately Torre did, and Boone got his big AB.
ITS THE ELIMINATION GAME. Don't over think it. Let your best players play.

With two rookies going this feels like one is gonna be close to unhittable for 4+ innings and the other is going to struggle mightily. Perhaps I am off base on that but just one of those feelings. You wonder who may have the better potential long relief. Both have starters they can turn to, be interested to see who Boone goes to and it's Warren. A bit surprised Gill isn't on the roster but I assume some combo of Warren and Leiter Jr is the play there. Can't see Blackburn and I have zero faith in Doval right now. Like Hill but hard to use him early being the only lefty option.
