West Genny alum HC.How did Richmond get so good?
West Genny alum HC.How did Richmond get so good?
Cuse's schedule ultimately ended up being as close to perfect as you could get. Even Colgate beat Navy today.
Ohio State and Cornell were bubble in before today. Now the bubble has to include Virginia and Maryland because they have the best opportunities for big wins. Virginia is now well ahead of Ohio State in RPI.Didn't think the bubble was that big going into this weekend but now, with UVA and Yale taking out ND and Cornell . . . and PSU taking OSU to town . . .
Things getting more interesting.
Cuse well positioned.

Duke has to play Virginia next week and Notre Dame plays Richmond. A Notre Dame loss would put them on the bubble, and a Duke loss would likely put them bubble out. Both have fairly weak resumes.
A Hopkins win over Rutgers is good for us, and would solidify them with Penn State as in.
Harvard versus North Carolina tomorrow doesn’t matter too much. Harvard win is better for our RPI but Carolina win is better for us long-term.
Denver dropped nine spots at RPI today, taking away a top 20 win.
Would certainly welcome anyone here to join me being a Hopkins fan the rest of the season (unless they play again) as painful as it might be for you all.
Hopkins staying as a top 5 RPI win for Cuse would be huge.
Hmm. Let me think.
Naaaaaahhhhhh.

I'll be rooting for them tomm. Helps our #s and gets me off the bagel for pickem.
Jeremy I'm so sorry you had to momentarily try and root for the Jays in conference play.
Just when you think they turn a corner they turn in a truly embarrassing performance.
I will not ask anyone here to support them again.
I think Hopkins is decent but that 2nd half made my eyes bleed. The amount of dumb Hopkins turnovers late looked like Syracuse on steroids. I also have no idea what they were doing on that tieing goal late, how in the world do you leave a trailor uncovered and why is that guy trying that pass with an empty net. Terrible job by Milliman
I was rooting for the Blue Jays and feel bad for Gelinas. Collison is an enigma to me-clearly he is very talented and is physically imposing but too many times he is a non-factor. Brooks English dodged harder than him today. Just bad lacrosse except for GelinasI have stayed calm every game this season, including the end of game implosion against UNC, but that was certainly the most infuriating performance I have seen this year.
Rutgers is by no means a bad team and they deserved to win 100%, but the Blue Jays just gave the game away time after time after time. They had every chance to win and were completely disinterested.

Georgetown's RPI is interesting. They are 4-4 and are lifted up to a #10 RPI by an Opponent's Win pct of .7285. They end the regular season playing Providence, Marquette, St.John's, and Villanova, who have an average winning pct of .391. Even if Georgetown wins these 4 games their RPI might drop a little - perhaps enough to knock them out of the top 10 RPIs.
Anyways, these RPIs are going to shift around a bit, so making predictions with them is fraught with error.

Wild to see UVA in but the numbers are what they are.
Still crazy to see Hopkins seeded (I know the numbers are currently in their favor) after this past weekend and with the doubts I have about how they'll finish the season.
B10 down to 2. As noted that's the conference that will suffer most from any potential bid thievery.
Curious how the committee may try to spread the ACC out. In this one there's a whole pod 4/5 without an ACC team. In fact, 4/5 in the bottom half of the bracket. That feels crazy to me, I'd think the committee would try to split them up more but I recognize that they are not obligated to.
That top half is (all things considered) pretty favorable for Princeton.
