Quick reminder for those who maybe new or just need a refresher. We pick 4 games a week based on the spread. Over/Under only comes into play for the title game. For Conf Champ Week and 1st Round of the tourney we pick 6 games those weeks. The 6 games for the 1st round was new last year so I we can evaluate doing that again as the season goes on.

Please also remember to try and get your picks on before the game starts. I know we have been pretty generous if a game is a few minutes in but last year we had people picking games that were in the 2nd half etc. This was done inadvertently of course but it adds a lot of extra work for Schutt so please be cognizant of this.

The Queens at Mt. St. Mary's game scheduled for Saturday at 11am has been changed to Sunday at 1pm at Queens. Per a friend who is a parent of a MSM player. Draftkings now lists that game at Queens as MSM -1.5.

Just remembered from another post moving forward we should post the lines on Thursday and go with those lines. I mention that because several lines have moved including the SU game.

We will go with these for this week but I think going with Thursday afternoon ish moving forward is our best bet.

looking forward to the hijinx again this year! due respect, my 2 cents as laxfanshutt is collecting them all, needs help with out of state lines, and may have different real life responsibilities week to week for when he posts them... any time/day should be good? a line changing is just books adjusting to where the money has (started to) come in. those that bet on tuesday don't get different odds later, sometimes they'll move up or down but it's just a different day's lines, one's not better than another. and we're not running $$ here anyhoo.

Yes we posted weekend games Thursday or 2 days before weekly games…it worked well.. I just didn’t think you’d be a whole lot of movement in the first week… I guess that was wrong.. lol

I hear ya but last year we went with Thursday and that seemed to work pretty well. Sometimes the lines barely move other times it can move multiple points, sometimes a line is pending for one reason or another waiting till Thursday morning gives the lines time to settle a bit and then we stick with them regardless of any late movement. Certainly if it becomes an issue we can re-evaluate as the season goes on.

Towson +4.5 vs UNC - early game jitters and sounds like Duffy is not 100%. I am shorting the Tar Heels this year, please everyone take the opposite of my position because I am always wrong.

RMU +10.5 vs Hopkins - don't know much about RMU this year, but that's a big line and if it's going to be as cold as they say, I feel like scoring isn't going to get out of hand.

Syracuse -5.5 over BU: perhaps I am overconfident but BU has never been to the Dome so this might be a tough hill to climb for the visitors.

PSU -4 over Colgate: don't know what to make of the Raiders given all they lost, but this game will be inside and be high scoring. Going to side with the Nittany Lions even though if memory serves me, they kind of struggle early in the year.

Agree big time on RMU and PSU going to be 2 of my picks as well. I am hesitant on SU with BU's 10 man, don't love that at all. I really hope I am wrong but this game reeks of opening game jitters/mistakes that ends up being a nailbiter and one where SU should likely be on upset alert.
