Let me guess Morikawa who dusts the media regularly as it's not part of the job, took questions yesterday. So happy to see Colin Morikawa back in the winner's circle. Hope he makes it consistently back into the upper echelons. Seems like a real nice guy. Plus, and I admit it, I have found Scotty's dominance as inevitable as I have found it boring. I don't root against him or anything, I just want some legit challengers at the top with more personality.
I'm a little surprised, Morikawa lost whatever he had a few years ago; wasn't expecting him to get it back.So happy to see Colin Morikawa back in the winner's circle. The internet states that he had an achilles injury in 2012, and spine and hand surgeries. Also had drug and alcohol problems up until 2 years ago.I don’t really follow much of anything that happens in LiV.
But seeing a tweet this morning that Anthony Kim won today’s LIV event was certainly something that caught my attention and made me take note. Rahm, Hatton and dechambeau were in too 5. Great comeback story.
There was always a mystery about Kim’s departure from the PGA tour around 2010 …speculated injury, speculated various demons, speculated mental health.
It is a great pro golf story, no matter your thoughts on LIV.
Nice bounce back today after a rough back (his first) 9Roy with a solid 67-72 opening 2 days for a well inside the cut score of -3 at the Cognizant Classic.
I rode the Jake Knapp train the last few weeks to no luck. But I do find the key is to bet some to win and then also bet to top five or top ten.Last week I had 100-1 come in 2nd. This week I have two 40-1 guys in the top 6-7 on the last day. Not any winning going on, but at least I have reason to watch on sundays.
$25 on Nico at +450. Looked dead until Lowry got the yips on 16 and 17. Roy with a final day 69 (nice) to finish tournament -7 and T23 for a check of $77,600Usually someone that shoots super low like Lowry's 63 yesterday doesn' follow it up. I'll put a little on each of the dudes one shot back Echavarria and Moore.
Roy was projected to miss the cut until it moved from +1 to +2. Let's see how he does on moving day. Some long shot Players Championship bets for S&G's at $10 each
Ryo Hisatune 125-1
Joel Dahmen 125-1
Aldrich Potgieter 175-1
Kevin Roy 350-1
Jhonathan Vegas 750-1
Tees off at 9:10 AM. Without looking it up I think this is the biggest full field purse on the tour. He squeaked into the weekend now lock in and get that money and fed ex points.Roy was projected to miss the cut until it moved from +1 to +2. Let's see how he does on moving day.
