I like playing Pitt early. Can see the Pirates play (they play the Brewers Thursday night and Royals over the weekend). More importantly, Pitt has struggled early and lost their long time DC.

I genuinely respect your optimism, but there is no way the floor for a team that just went 3-9 is 6-6.

While technically the floor and ceiling start and end with zero, realistically it is very hard to justify anything less than 5-7. If that occurs than we are in another dead man walking season in 2027.

There's just a lot of question marks. We don't know if Angeli will be fully healed. We don't know if our portal off-season will translate into success like it did in 2024. Literally anything could happen in 2026.

A 6-6 floor (i.e. absolute worst case scenario) is for teams like Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama, etc.

Better coaching and scheming goes a long way. Also Bringing in better and players with proven production and higher ceiling everywhere except the WR position. I love what we did at WR but it still hurts losing Gill and Cook.
