So wait did Fran get rid of the bell for a dmx song for 3rd downs? Bc I will not be thrilled with that

I was there tonight, yeah this is not a good change at all. I get wanting to have some different chants and queues, but 3rd down has never been the problem. I didnt like the DMX at all, it honestly doesnt pump you up the way a 3rd down moment should. The bell is perfect. If this is a permanent change then its a major downgrade. I hated it haha, and the band still played their normal 3rd down song so it really conflicted

It’s not a made for TV event, they want people in the dome to be able to test out seats anywhere and potentially buy seasons

I was there, my takeaways:

-Odom bounced back from the early interception, but struggled to connect with Miller (I think) on the Hb screen

-would’ve liked to have seen more Lauter. He impressed me as the most composed and steady QB

-WR I like the potential of Elijah Moore who had a deep connection with Odom today. Wilfong is skinny as a twig but got open several times, dont underestimate him. Weaver has good size almost view him as more of a TE/villari type.

-Good to see Tripp nail all his field goals. Gregg looked good too

Wilfong is like 160lb. The backup QBs looked like they could throw a forward pass, so that is nice. Thick Wood banged some FGs. Tremble is good.

Odom was a steal, he is legit

Absolutely, watch his film, as I said here a few weeks ago he’s legit going to give angeli run for his money for qb 1.

That game winning drive he led down the field, for the field Goal was a thing of beauty performing “under pressure”, with The game on the line which despite it being just a spring game, it’s the type of thing coaches look for to see if he can perform in the moment.

Kid can run, throw real well all manner of throws and seems in command as an experienced leader. The one int was bad however, and that type thing will make angeli the favorite come fall. So at the very least, it looks like we have a very very capable back up

The kicker is legit, and a future all American, the punter should be good, The Florida state transfer wide receiver, Elijah Moore looks awesome and will be the star, and Hatcher will be a major contributor this year. Tremble looks huge but still sharp and athletic

We good at qb, wr, lb, db’s and probably improved in the ol in terms of performance and depth. This based on what we saw and based on what we saw last year with the players who didn’t play. We’re Average at best at rb (I hope!), as I did not see anybody who can create, dl I just just did not concentrate on.
