After lacrosse season, I usually drop down from Hulu Plus Live TV to just Hulu. It isn't worth it to try to find the Yankees game. Once football season starts up I switch back.

I just discovered that the cost of watching the Yankees on the Gotham sports app has been reduced. It's now $20/mo. I think last year it was $25/mo. I believe it can only be used in Yankee territory (which I think includes all of NYS) where the Yankees games on MLB.TV are blacked out.
