Syracuse boys down in Long Island scouting today. Fall Classic
Syracuse offered. My understanding is St Joes came with a better financial package. I’m not sure if there were any additional factors.Lee Warren looks like a absolute steal for SJU, from Guiderland/Sweetlac and is a hard nosed midfielder the Orange absolutely should try to flip
Are you sure? I am almost 100% positive he never even visited.Syracuse offered. My understanding is St Joes came with a better financial package. I’m not sure if there were any additional factors.
Also heard that Hasen Peck (‘26 winter) is up over 170lbs and is working hard to gain muscle/weight. Apparently he played in the Lawrenceville alumni game recently. Pat March attended.

So all 7 of their eligible (ie American) recruits were named. Very nice.

Just saw Matthew Herendeen, committed to Siena, at power six trny in Albany. He looked very good & much bigger than I remember him. Should be on the radar for a steal. Guess have to see how his high school year goes. He plays behind Holborough at Sweetlax so tough on minutes but this kid is a steal and local.
I’m pretty positive that Heredeen is well known by the SU staff given he’s from Victor and plays for Sweetlax. He’s certainly a good player but unless he’s sprouted since I last saw him in November he’s a bit undersized for the ACC. Watched him at Cornfield in November and I felt like he was really challenged by the larger athletic poles. On the flip side he’s super quick and has a great motor and that goes a long way. Again, really good player but Siena or a comparable school seems like it would be the right fit. Thanks for the heads up. I say this in all seriousness, reach out to the staff with this information. Guys slip though the cracks all the time and we have had instances in the past of fans alerting the staff to guys who ultimately ended up at SU. It's been awhile since this happened but would highly encourage you to send an email to the staff if nothing else it will get him on their radar.
Because everyone loves being pestered incessantly. The new strat should be to spend the next year and a half in the ear of Colsey or Stankavage to try and get them to flip from UNC and look for under the radar guys if that doesn't work.
There is a line between continue trying to recruit someone and pestering them incessantly, I'm leaning more towards the former with my statement.Because everyone loves being pestered incessantly.
This is fairNIL has some pros and cons as far as flipping goes. If we can pony up the cash for a guy who is promised way less under his current commitment he may have to consider, but flipping from a place like UNC, where they most likely have a large NIL fund to work with, may be a taller order than usual. Even if a guy is worried about playing time at UNC, it may be tough to pass up the NIL offer that they have been promised. If playing time was the only factor like the older days, I would feel better about possibly flipping a UNC guy.
Would love to know the inner workings of NIL deals at UNC for the lacrosse team. I did hear from a reliable source about some allegedly large numbers that went to a prior Tewaaraton winner from the ACC... I had no idea those types of numbers were even in play for lacrosse... I was shocked when I heard them.NIL has some pros and cons as far as flipping goes. Things continue downhill for UVA in the recruiting world ...
