Well, THAT will make folks want to attend.
anyone who was planning on attending was probably not going just to see the spring "game"

Pitches to ameem moore out of the pistol #mcdonaldlogic
McDonald's offense was just a million formations to run the same bubble screen.... to guys like jamal custis and ben lewis.....from 5 yards deep in the endzone.
Seriously. It's almost like Shafer didn't want anyone to pay attention this Spring. Why the hell would you have the format this way? It's almost like he wants to alienate the fanbase. Regular practice with scrimmage sessions, and will run live plays in different situations. So stupid.

Terrel Hunt: "Coach McDonald wanted us to run a different type of offense. Sadly we didn’t have the tools that we needed for that offense."
Looks like McF***it just got thrown under the bus,
What gets me is it sounds as though the install of Lester's offense went smoother in this first spring than the install of McD's offense in the 2nd spring of running it!Another slap at the great McDonald -
Terrel Hunt said offensive install has been smooth and simple thus far: "Last year we were a jack of all trades and a master of none."
How do we feel about spring game attendance this year?

I always recall, growing up in Jersey, a rival high school team would run 3-4 of the same plays over and over again.
And they did it so well, no one could stop them.
I recall Oklahoma doing this to us some years back. It was maddening.
Exactly. Ran a handful of plays from different formations. KISSIt's what we did with Nassib, Lemon, and Rome too.
I could watch practice and a scrimmage 1 v 1's and 2 v 2's etc. for hours. It's football.
Sure you could watch it. I bet most of the die-hards could to, but I don't see that attracting any casual fans, and isn't that what the Spring game is for? Shafer already said we aren't going to show anything, and it's going to be very vanilla. It's basically a throw away practice. OK so if that's the case you are pretty much admitting it's supposed to be for the fans. So why don't you give the fans what the majority of them want, and would understand. Otherwise just do what Pitt did last year. Don't have a Spring game, and use it as a real practice.

Most casual fans don't even show up to games. I'd venture to guess the types you're referencing to "need" to be entertained aren't even aware when the Spirng game is and/or wouldn't show up anyway.
You, I, and the vast majority here would watch the team tie their shoelaces for 2 hours straight if that somehow improved the teams record next year.
